Éanna O’ Reilly
My name is Éanna O’Reilly. I want to give you a little background as to how I became an acupuncturist.
I discovered acupuncture some years ago when an ailment that was causing me serious issues had gotten the better of me. I thought I had exhausted all avenues to try and help me and nothing had worked.
In conversation with a friend of mine they mentioned that I should try acupuncture! At the time I didn’t know much about Acupuncture but I was willing to try anything!
I booked an acupuncture appointment and that is when my life changed forever!
After my first 4 sessions the ailment that had caused me such pain and discomfort for such a long time had been resolved. Not only that, I started to feel really well and had more energy than I had had in a long time! I was fascinated and soon became obsessed with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)
Having worked successfully in the construction industry for a long time, I decided that I wanted a career change and wanted to help people the same way my acupuncturist helped me.
I studied Acupuncture at the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland under the guidance of the teachers from Nanjing University (One of Chinas top TCM universities).
I am now a member of the AFPA (Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association) which is recognised by all the private health care insurers.
I have truly found my calling as an acupuncturist and nothing gives me more pleasure than helping people to get better and treating the vast range of issues that acupuncture can treat.
